Castleconnell campsite is located just north of Limerick City, nestled in 22 acres of prime camping and woodland grounds, and has a huge variety of amenities within walking distance.

There is an extensive list of activities and programme opportunities available and facilities that are second to none.

The campsite is in a great location, close to the river Shannon, with plenty of scope for kayaking swimming hiking, exploring, sight seeing, and trails for hiking and walking.

The campsite is used by Castleconnell Scout Group. The campsite has been used by plenty of groups from all over the country including Tipperary, Cork, Galway, Limerick and has hosted National Events such as Survivor for Scouts and Ventures. Ideal location for backwoods, pioneering, camping, and survivor skills.

Castleconnell Campsite is perfectly situated to provide your troop with every opportunity to explore and to engage in an active outdoors programme. Our camping field is perfect for wide games and team building activities, while our woodlands are the perfect venue for your survival weekend.
