Salesian Primary School in Fernbank have launched their second fashion show to fundraise for a new library. A full evening of entertainment will be provided by the Holman Lee Agency on 26th March in the Limerick Strand Hotel.

Speaking at the launch was interim Principal Aisling Murray, "The school is filled with a great buzz of excitement for the upcoming fashion show in The Strand Hotel. We are incredibly fortunate to have such hardworking and involved parents who have organised what promises to be a night of wonderful entertainment on March 26th".

Some parents and staff of Salesian Primary School will have the opportunity to step into the limelight on the catwalk alongside the professionals of the Celia Holman Lee Agency.

The last fashion show event raised funds for the refurbishment of a meditation room with bluebells (pictured) and also a science room for students. It is hoped this event will raise enough funds to refurbish a room to create our own Library Room.

"We are delighted to launch this event which we hope will be a real highlight on the calendar. We know the funds raised will be put to very good use in developing and improving our school for generations to come. We'd like to thank the Holman Lee Agency, Limerick Strand Hotel and all of the wonderful stores who are taking part. We hope it will be great night of top notch fashion and great craic for a great cause", said Anna Fitzsimons, Chair of Salesian Fashion Show Committee.

Ms Murray, Salesian Primary School added, "Although our wonderful committee of parents have organised all the details of this fashion extravaganza, our pupils have been involved in designing and creating posters, and art competitions. Our 6th class have had the opportunity to showcase some Junk Couture fashion that they designed and created from recycled and upcycled materials. This aligns with our status of being a Green Flag School."

Tickets are €20 each and are available from the school. For more information click here.
