The winners of the 2021 Georgina Campbell Irish Food & Hospitality Awards have been announced. Mary Bourke, Head of Housekeeping at The Mustard Seed in Ballingarry, West Limerick, was the recipient of The Little Things Award.

Now running for 23 years, the awards are selected by incognito inspectors and aim to honour Ireland's standard-bearers in food and hospitality.

Describing this year’s event as "a kind of love letter to Irish food and hospitality" Georgina Campbell says that, despite everything that we have gone through in the last eighteen months, the country's food, tourism and hospitality is a very exciting and ever-developing story.

Staying "in tune with the times", this year's awards brought a special focus to sustainable development, ethical sourcing policies and those who not only survived but thrived during the pandemic.
