Leave no one behind at Christmas - Redemptorist Christmas Hamper Appeal

  • Redemptorist hamper appeal

The Redemptorists, working with the Society of St Vincent de Paul and many other organizations, hope to distribute 6,000 Christmas Hampers across the city and county in the lead up to Christmas.

The Redemptorist Christmas Hamper Appeal has been operating since 1972 with a very simple aim - food on every table at Christmas and a toy for every child.

Introducing this year’s slogan, Even the Holy Family needed help at Christmas, Redemptorist Rector Fr Seamus Enright commented that the Holy Family knew what it was to be homeless at Christmas, what it was like to flee political violence and what it was like to live as migrants in a strange land.

Donations of cash, food and new toys can be sent to Fr Seamus Enright at the Redemptorists. Fr Seamus can be contacted at msa@redemptorists.ie or 061-315099.
