After your picnic in the park make sure to visit Limerick City Gallery of Art (LCGA), one of the leading contemporary art galleries in Ireland, conveniently located in the historic Carnegie Building in the People's Park! Located in the 19th century, Georgian styled Pery Square, the Gallery is almost 70 years old, open since 1948.
The Gallery is home to an important collection of Irish 18th to 21st-century art in all media, amounting to over 831 works.
