Ciara & Jon, former hosts of TV3’s ‘The Holiday Show’, pack the kids, the car and drive the highways and byways of Limerick to unearth the well known and little known gems that the Treaty City and County has to offer.
Ciara & Jon’s Road Trip Reality, a new online travel series, is brought to you by Shiny Day TV and supported by Limerick City and County Council.
The couple, joined by their daughters, Bo, Edie and baby Blaise, discover the beauty of the Limerick countryside through the eyes of their little ones.
In the first episode, the family travel to Limerick City and experience the sights that the city has to offer, including King John’s Castle and the Thomond Park Museum. Each episode showcases aerial images of the landscape where they visit.
In the second episode of Ciara & Jon's Road Trip Reality through Limerick they visit the home of Irish Coffee at Foynes Flying Boat and Maritime Museum, they run rings around the oldest and largest stone circle in Ireland at Grange near Lough Gur and visit the modern exhibition detailing over 6,000 years of history at Lough Gur Heritage Centre.
Ciara enjoys some me time at Rain Spa & Wellness Clinic at The Radisson Blu Hotel & Spa Limerick while John takes the kids on a Kayaking Tour on the River Shannon.
In the final episode of Ciara & Jon's Road Trip Reality through Limerick they visit the beautiful Bunratty Castle & Folk Park, eat some delicious food at Limerick Milk Market, have lots of fun dressing up as princesses in Dreamland Fun Centre and enjoy a kid friendly afternoon tea in Radisson Blu Hotel & Spa Limerick.
The new series takes an inspirational, humorous and realistic look at travelling the country with toddlers in tow. In their down to earth, witty and often brutally honest style, Ciara and Jon attempt to figure out how best to juggle nap time and feeding routines, with tourist attractions and sight-seeing.
