Special Occasions situated at the Market Yard, just off The Square, was opened in 1987 by Patsy Griffin. This shop lives up to its name SPECIAL OCCASIONS with stocks of cards and gifts for all those special events.
In this shop you will find a huge selection of cards, notelets, stationery sets, wrapping paper, gift bags, old-style jars of sweets etc.
A recent addition to the shop is its clothing range for children aged 0-2 years, boys and girls. Of particular interest is the fact that many items in the children’s selection i.e. christening candles, baby blankets and shawls, dolls and other items can be embroidered and PERSONALISED. You can present your own idea to Patsy and she will ensure that is it can be done, it will be done.
