An an added feature the junior members of Foynes Yacht Club will sail three Kayaks and three Topaz craft, where they will give a sailing display for members of the public outside Clohessey's Bar on the majestic River Shannon. This display will take place at 6pm.

When the boats are secure the hungry crews will sample the night-life and cuisine of Dolan's Traditional Irish Pub and Restaurant for a fun-filled evening.

'This tradition of member of the yacht club sailing to Limerick from Foynes has been to the forefront of the club for many years, and we would like to build it up and keep it going on an annual basis, and show how Foynes Yacht Club can be part of the cultural weekend of Riverfest', Commodore Tom Murray said.
