Costello School of Irish Dancing

  • Costello School of Irish Dancing 810 x 456

Classes are provided for all levels from beginner right up to and including championship level. These classes cater for both competitive and non-competitive pupils.

The Costello School of Irish Dancing was founded in 1972 by Anthony Costello and has been very successful to date.

Our team currently teach classes in a variety of locations throughout Limerick and Clare. Classes include both girls and boys of various ages and the school is continuing to grow each year. Our classes cater for non-competitive pupils specifically where the emphasis is on having fun in a relaxed, sociable atmosphere.

In just one hour a week your child could have an enjoyable experience of an important part of Irish Culture. Dancing is a great way to develop strong muscle and bone structure and also an excellent way to keep fit and healthy.

Conor, Anthony’s nephew who is now the main teacher in the school was born in Limerick and started dancing himself at the age of 4. In his competitive career he has competed at local, regional, national and international levels and has many titles to his name including World and All Ireland champion. Conor also spent 2 years involved with the hugely acclaimed and world renowned show, Riverdance.

The aim of the school is to make sure that every child learns Irish dancing in a fun and friendly environment. All children are welcome from aged 4+.
