The Gaff

  • The Gaff

Welcome to the Gaff. Our goal is to provide a city centre resource for theatre and performing arts in Limerick, facilitating direct connection between artists, community groups and the wider public.

The GAFF is and artist-led, community focused facility in the heart of Limerick City. The building on 36 Cecil St. was originally built as a Quaker Meeting House in the early 1800s.

The heritage of the building is evident to all visitors. Although The GAFF is not a public facing venue, it does open its doors on occasions for fundraising or for events that are appropriate and relevant to operations.

The GAFF creates opportunities for communities and artists to work together and provides an 'almost free' place for companies to rehearse.
