St. John’s Church, Knockainey is a beautifully restored 19th Century church set in the heart of County Limerick and the perfect setting for your wedding or community event!
The church was deconsecrated by the Church of Ireland in 1999 and faithfully restored to its former glory by the Knockainey Historical & Conservation Society from 2007 onwards. Today St. John’s continues to maintain all the beauty of a religious setting without an affiliation to any church leaving it open to use for concerts, weddings and many community events.
With its original stained glass windows, interior fittings and pews, the beautiful St. John’s Church is located in the centre of Knockainey village, a small rural village between the towns of Bruff and Hospital and approximately 20km from Limerick City.
