EU Programme Manager (Analogous to AO) - Closing Date 12th December 2022

Limerick City and County Council (LCCC) is establishing a panel for the position of EU Programme Manager (Analogous to Administrative Officer).  It is proposed to form a panel of qualified candidates from which temporary vacancies which arise during the lifetime of the panel may be filled.

The Position:

The EU Programme Manager is responsible for the successful implementation of existing EU funded projects (Interreg, Urbact, H2020, etc.) and for the development of new opportunities, projects and processes to enable and educate Limerick City and County Council staff members to identify and seek EU funding.  For the first year, the EU Programme Manager will be primarily responsible for the successful completion of the Horizon 2020 +CityxChange Project as a Project Manager and Deputy Coordinator. This project alone is investing €6.5m in the city through its Limerick based partners and is due to finish in October 2023.

The EU Programme Manager will report to the Head of Digital Services and EU Programmes, and will provide project management and admin support to council departments involved in EU Projects. They will ensure the smooth running of the EU Projects Office and its activities.

An Bainisteoir Cláir AE freagrach as cur chun feidhme rathúil tionscadal atá á maoiniú ag an AE faoi láthair (Interreg, Urbact, H2020, etc.) agus deiseanna, tionscadail agus próisis nua a fhorbairt a chuirfidh ar chumas bhaill foirne Chomhairle Contae agus Cathrach Luimnigh maoiniú AE a shainaithint agus a lorg.  Don chéad bhliain, beidh an phríomhfhreagracht ar an mBainisteoir Cláir AE as cur i gcrích rathúil Fhís 2020 agus Thionscadal +CityxChange mar Bhainisteoir Tionscadail agus Leas-Chomhordaitheoir. Tá €6.5m á infheistiú ag an tionscadal seo sa chathair trína chomhpháirtithe atá lonnaithe i Luimneach agus tá sé beartaithe críoch a chur leis an tionscadal i mí Dheireadh Fómhair 2023.

Tuairisceoidh Bainisteoir Cláir AE do Cheannasaí na Seirbhísí Digiteacha agus na gClár AE, agus beidh sé/sí freagrach as bainistíocht tionscadail agus tacaíocht riaracháin a chur ar fáil do ranna na comhairle atá páirteach i dtionscadail AE. Cinnteoidh sé seo go mbeidh Oifig Tionscadal an AE agus a cuid gníomhaíochtaí á cur i gcrích ar bhealach éifeachtach.

 

Salary
€53,943 – €70,126 per annum inclusive of two long service increments. Payment of increments is dependent on satisfactory performance.
Annual Leave
30 days annual leave.
Hours of Work
35 hours per week, hours may vary from time to time. The post may require flexibility in working outside of normal hours, including at weekends, as necessary.
