Offence Fine Amount
For the range of parking offences €40
For non-display of correct tax disc €60
For illegal parking in a disabled parking bay €80

These charges apply if paid within 28 days of issue of the Fixed Charge Offence Notice. 

These amounts plus 50% will apply if paid within the next 28 day period.

Please note you will need the Parking Ticket Number and Vehicle Registration Number.  

Please remove the LCC and the first zero on the ticket number.

To Appeal a Fine 

Fines must be appealed in writing to: Traffic Management Department, Limerick City & County Council, Dooradoyle, Limerick.

Or you can fill in an appeal form in our Customer Service Offices at Merchants Quay or Dooradoyle, or at the Municipal Offices in Kilmallock and Newcastle West.

You may also appeal a fine by emailing stating your reason for appeal.

Please note that we cannot accept appeals after the expiration of the period of 56 days from the date of your fixed charge notice

Manner of Payment:

  • Pay in person at Limerick City and County Council Offices at Merchants Quay and Dooradoyle, Newcastle West, Rathkeale or Kilmallock, by cash or credit/debit card.
  • Pay by post with a postal order  to Limerick City and County Council, Traffic Management Department, Dooradoyle, Limerick.  (Please quote ticket number and car registration number when sending in postal payment.)
  • Pay by telephone: +353 61 407165 (24 hour service) using Credit/Debit Card (Parking Fines received in Limerick City only – service to be rolled out to other areas shortly.)
