Notice is hereby given that Limerick City and County Council has, in pursuance of the provisions of the above Act, deemed made the Newcastle West Local Area Plan 2023 – 2029, which was adopted by the Elected Members of the Municipal District of Newcastle West, Limerick City and County Council on December 6th 2023. The Local Area Plan takes effect from the 25th January 2024.
The Plan includes a Local Transport Plan, Strategic Flood Risk Assessment (SFRA), Consolidated Natura Impact Report, Appropriate Assessment (AA) Conclusion Statement, Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) Environmental Report and Strategic Environmental Assessment Statement.
A copy of the Local Area Plan together with associated reports may be viewed in Limerick City and County Council Offices in Merchants Quay, daily (exclusive of public holidays) from Monday to Friday between the hours of 9.00am and 5.00pm. A copy of the Plan may also be inspected in the Public Libraries in Abbeyfeale and Newcastle West during normal opening hours.
