The Paint Scheme is a targeted support offered by Limerick City and County Council directed at the owners of vacant and rundown properties in the towns and villages of the county. The support offered through the scheme is aimed at enhancing the properties to make a positive contribution to the wider streetscape.
The Scheme may offer a grant of up to 75% of the cost of the work, subject to a maximum grant of €1000, to property owners who are successful applicants. Terms and conditions apply and each application is treated on a case by case basis.
Generally, properties will be identified by the Dereliction, Vacancy & Reuse Team of Limerick City and County Council as being vacant/derelict and the owners of same are engaged to participate.
Closing date for applications is Friday 4th October 2024.
