Planning permission is required for any development of land or property unless the development is specifically exempted from this need.
To obtain planning permission you must make a planning application to Limerick City and County Council. The application must be made in accordance with the requirements of the Local Government (Planning & Development) Regulations, 2001 to 2013.
Planning applications can be viewed online below. Please note that for County Council applications (electronic versions) received from 1st January 2006 and City Council applications (electronic versions) received from 1st January 2008 are available to view online.
