Welfare and Accommodation Supports

In response to the ongoing flooding incidents, Limerick City and County Council is working closely with the Department of Social Protection and the Health Service Executive to ensure that families in need of assistance are being supported in what is a very difficult time for them.

Any families needing assistance with accommodation and/or welfare supports will be visited by Council and Department of Social Protection staff to arrange the necessary supports.

The Health Service Executive is responding to, and providing supports with regard to any health or special needs issues that arise.

The Council, Health Service Executive and the Department of Social Protection will continue to work very closely to ensure that appropriate accommodation, health and welfare supports are made available to all those needing assistance.
