The Deep Retrofit Grant Scheme is now closed which included floor insulation and window upgrade.

Built Heritage Investment Scheme
This assists owner and occupiers of recognised heritage buildings and structures (e.g. Protected Structures, Proposed Protected Structures and structures within proposed Conservation Areas) undertake conservation work to their properties.
Minimum award - €2,500. Max award - €15,000 to a standard maximum permissible benefit of 50% having regard to other publicly funded measures and initiatives.
Works approved under this scheme must meet all statutory requirements including the need for planning permission where appropriate.

Historic Structures Fund
The primary focus of this fund is on Conservation and enhancement of historic structures and buildings for the benefit of communities and the public. It aims to enable conservation works to be carried out on heritage structures which are deemed to be significant and in need of urgent support.
Applications can be made to Limerick City and County Council for grants ranging from €15,000 to €50,000 and €50,000 to €200,000 (closing date: 31/01/2020).
Or if a state funded organisation, applications can be made directly to the Department of Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht. (closing date: 14/02/2020).

Connect to the Grid Initiative
Grants have been given for traditional windows, traditional facade building works. Launched in 2019 but unlikely to run in 2020 as Limerick City and County Council has to match fund this from its rates base which has been greatly reduced.
