St. Patrick’s Festival 2022 Creative Producer

Limerick City and County Council are seeking quotations for a Creative Producer and programming services to support the delivery of the Limerick St. Patrick’s Festival 2022.

About the Limerick St. Patrick’s Festival

Limerick St. Patrick’s Festival 2022 takes place from 17th to 20th March 2022 with a series of events celebrating our National Holiday.
This year’s festival is proposed to have an environmental awareness theme to celebrate World Wildlife Day which, in March 2022, is themed around “Forests and Livelihoods: Sustaining People and Planet”. In line with Ireland’s Climate Action Plan 2021, which strives to create a cleaner, greener economy, there should be a focus on using recycled and upcycled materials for example.

On Sunday 20th March, we hope to see the streets of Limerick once again filled with lively music as we welcome back the spectacular sight of marching band musicians from across Ireland, Europe and America for the 50th Limerick International Band Championship.

Limerick’s St. Patrick’s Festival’s highlight will be the return of Ireland’s largest regional St. Patrick’s Day Parade, Thursday 17th March, traditionally featuring up to 2,000 participants from all across our community groups, bands and sports clubs, providing a colourful display of performances and costumes, complemented by professional artistic programmed content.

Full project brief and marking criteria can be downloaded in the supporting documents below.

Deadline date for receipt of Quotations is noon on Friday 21st January.

Completed quotations can be emailed to festivalsandevents@limerick.ie.
