Limerick Arts Office Bursaries 2017

The deadline for these bursary applications is 5pm, Monday 15 May 2017.

Limerick Arts Office, Limerick City and County Council, is delighted to announce funding bursary opportunities for 2017. The purpose of these bursaries is to support professional development in line with the Limerick Cultural Strategy, A Framework 2016-2030.

Blas International Summer School Bursary 2017
Blas Summer School Dates: 19 – 30 June 2017
Limerick Arts Office, Limerick City and County Council, is offering one bursary to attend this year’s Blas Summer School at the Irish World Academy of Music, University of Limerick. This bursary will cover 1 week’s tuition (lectures, workshop, assessment and attendance at all concerts).

Meitheal Summer School Bursary 2017
Meitheal Summer School Dates: 24 – 28 July 2017
Limerick Arts Office, Limerick City and County Council, is offering one bursary to attend this year’s Meitheal Summer School, Villiers School, Limerick. This bursary will cover 5 days tuition (including accommodation, meals, tuition, activities and supervision). It is open to musicians resident in Limerick City and County who can demonstrate a high competency in Irish music.

Irish Youth Choir Bursary 2017 
Irish Youth Choir Summer Course Dates: 25 June – 2 July 2017
Limerick Arts Office, Limerick City and County Council, is offering one bursary to attend this year’s Irish Youth Choir Summer Course at the Irish World Academy of Music and Dance, University of Limerick This bursary will cover 1 week’s tuition and is open only to Choir Members who are resident in Limerick City and County.

Drama League of Ireland Summer School Bursary 2017
Drama League of Ireland Summer School Dates: 29 July – 5 August 2017
Limerick Arts Office, Limerick City and County Council, is offering one non-residential bursary for the 52nd Annual Drama League of Ireland Residential Summer School at the University of Limerick. The bursaries are open to practitioners who are resident in Limerick City and County. 
CLOSING DATE: MONDAY 15 MAY 2017 5PM
(Please note: Applicants must have booked a course and paid deposit to DLI; if successful, the deposit will be refunded by DLI)

Tyrone Guthrie Centre Regional Bursary Scheme 2017
Limerick Arts Office, Limerick City and County Council, is delighted to announce an open call to recognised cultural practitioners, across all art forms, born or residing within Limerick City and County, to apply for a bursary to undertake a short residency at the Tyrone Guthrie Centre at Annaghmakerrig in Co. Monaghan.  This bursary covers all board and lodging expenses for 1 week.
