Planning & Development Act 2000 (Amended): Notice of Proposed Variation No. 6 to the extended Limerick County Development Plan 2010 – 2016

NOTICE is hereby given pursuant to Section 13 of the above Act that Limerick City and County Council being the Planning Authority for Limerick, has prepared a proposed variation No. 6 to the Limerick County Development Plan 2010-2016 (As Extended).

Proposed variation no. 6 to the Limerick County Development Plan 2010 – 2016 (As extended) comprises of changes to Chapter 8 of the plan, Transport and Infrastructure.

Strategic Environmental Assessment Report, has been prepared, in addition to this, an Appropriate Assessment Natura Impact Report and a Strategic Flood Risk Assessment have been prepared. 

A copy of the proposed variation may be inspected at the locations listed below during the public display period from Saturday 6th January 2018 to 5th February 2018 inclusive.

The proposed variation to the County Development Plan may also be viewed on Limerick City and County Council’s web site:

Submissions or observations may be made by any person, group or association and from children, or groups or associations representing the interests of children.

Any submissions or observations with respect to the proposed variation to the Plan, made in writing, to the Forward/Strategic Planning Section, Economic Development Directorate, Limerick City and County Council, Merchants Quay, Limerick or emailed to and received by close of business on Monday 5th February 2018 will be taken into consideration before any decision to vary the County Development Plan is made.
