Notice of making of Vesting Order under Section 17 (3)(a) of The Derelict Sites Act, 1990 (as amended). Notice is hereby given that Limerick City & County Council has made the following Vesting Order under the Derelict Sites Act, 1990 (as amended).

Vesting Order
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto and shown on the map attached hereto (Map Ref No. DS-098-19) is a derelict site within the meaning of the Derelict Sites Act, 1990 (hereinafter called “The Act”);
AND WHEREAS the provisions of Section 15 of the Act have been complied with by Limerick City & County Council (hereinafter called “the Local Authority”) in relation to the said land;
AND WHEREAS An Bord Pleanála has given its consent to the compulsory acquisition of the said land by the local authority;
NOW THEREFORE Limerick City & County Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by Section 17 of the Act, hereby order that the land described in the Schedule hereto shown on the map attached hereto shall, on the 20th day of March 2023, vest in the Local Authority in fee simple free from encumbrances and all estates, rights, titles and interest of whatsoever kind.

Description of Land
A derelict site comprising a two-storey, mid-terrace, residential premises and surrounding land situate at 7 O'Dwyer Villas, Thomondgate, Limerick, containing an area of 0.027 hectares.
The official seal of the local authority was affixed to the vesting order on the the 24th day of February 2023.
A map of the said derelict site has been deposited at the Property & Community Facilities Department, Limerick City and County Council, Merchant’s Quay, Limerick, Eircode: V94 EH90, and may be inspected there during office hours.
Any person who immediately before the making of the above Order had any estate or interest in or right in respect of land acquired may apply to the Property & Community Facilities Department, Limerick City and County Council, Merchant’s Quay, Limerick, Eircode: V94 EH90, not later than twelve months after the making of the Order for compensation in respect of the estate, interests and rights.
