Notice is hereby given that Limerick City & County Council has made the following Vesting Order under the Derelict Sites Act, 1990 (as amended).
FORM OF VESTING ORDER
DERELICT SITES ACT, 1990 (AS AMENDED)
Limerick City and County Council
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto and shown on the map attached hereto (Map Ref No. DS-101-17) is a derelict site within the meaning of the Derelict Sites Act, 1990 (hereinafter called “The Act”);
AND WHEREAS the provisions of Section 15 of the Act have been complied with by Limerick City & County Council (hereinafter called “the Local Authority”) in relation to the said land;
AND WHEREAS no objection was submitted to Limerick City & County Council under section 16 of the Act.
NOW THEREFORE Limerick City & County Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by Section 17 of the Act, hereby order that the land described in the Schedule hereto shown on the map attached hereto shall, on the 7th January, 2019 vest in the Local Authority in fee simple free from encumbrances and all estates, rights, titles and interest of whatsoever kind.
DESCRIPTION OF LAND
A derelict site comprising of a residential property & surrounding land situate at 2 Long Lane, Sir Harry’s Mall, Limerick comprising an area of 0.008 hectares.
The official seal of the local authority was affixed to the vesting order on __29th_day of November_, 2018.
A map of the said derelict site has been deposited at the Urban & Village Renewal Department, 7/8 Patrick Street, Limerick, Eircode: V94 XF67 and may be inspected there during office hours.
Any person who immediately before the making of the above Order had any estate or interest in or right in respect of land acquired may apply to the Urban & Village Renewal Department, 7/8 Patrick Street, Limerick, Eircode: V94 XF67 not later than twelve months after the making of the Order for compensation in respect of the estate, interests and rights.
