Five farmers who are subjects of Limerick City Gallery of Art’s At Home on the Farm exhibition meet in person

The five farmers who are the subjects of the At Home on the Farm exhibition at Limerick City Gallery of Art have met to view the exhibition in person.

Deputy Mayor of the City and County of Limerick Cllr Asad Talukdar welcomed the five farmers who generously participated in the making of the exhibition, by artist Mary Burke, which features five Co. Limerick farms.

The team at Film in Limerick is delighted to announce a panel of distinguished film industry professionals who will be green lighting the final six short film projects.

Limerick Sports Partnership secures €365,160 for sport and physical activity measures

Limerick Sports Partnership has secured over €365,000 for a wide range of sport and physical activity measures in Limerick. The funds are part of an investment package of €5.9million in Dormant Accounts Funding announced by Sport Ireland. The investment aims to engage communities across Limerick, focusing on people with disabilities, people who are educationally disadvantaged and from disadvantaged communities.

Contactless water fountain installed at the People’s Park

The latest in a series of touchless water fountains across Limerick has been installed at the People’s Park. Located close to the pedestrian entrance near Barrington Street, the new bottle filling station provides clean and safe drinking water without the risk of touching high-use buttons that could increase the spread of infection.
