+CityxChange Projects unveiled to re-imagine Limerick’s Georgian Laneways

Five projects led by community leaders have been selected by Limerick City and County Council as part of a programme to re-imagine Limerick’s Georgian Laneways. As part of Limerick City and County Council’s EU project +CityxChange (Positive City Exchange) we are hoping to create a new community to drive innovation and fight climate change by working towards a positive energy city!

You can now browse for books in five of Limerick’s libraries

Limerick City and County Library service is delighted to welcome back members of the public to a number of libraries from today (Tuesday 30 June 2020) as part of Phase 3 of the Government’s Roadmap. Library members will be allowed to access the following library branches for limited times from today.

Fianna Fáil’s Michael Collins elected as new Mayor of City and County of Limerick

The Fianna Fáil leader of Limerick City and County Council Cllr Michael Collins has been elected as the seventh Mayor of the City and County of Limerick. The meeting of Limerick City and County Council took place in the unusual surroundings of Limerick Racecourse in order to comply with Covid-19 guidelines set down by the government.
