TLC calls out to nature lovers for International Biodiversity Day competition

Team Limerick Clean-Up (TLC) has launched an exciting new competition to coincide with International Biodiversity day this Friday, 22nd May. Celebrating 2020’s theme Our Solutions Are in Nature, TLC is asking families and individuals to submit photos of nature in its element in their garden or local green.

Oscar and Emmy nominated director joins Film in Limerick for online masterclass

Academy Award and Emmy winning director Guy Davidi will be the latest film industry professional to present at Film In Limerick’s Wednesday Workshop online. The Oscar nominated and Emmy Award winning director will join Film in Limerick on Wednesday 27 May 2020 at 2pm for a free online film masterclass on directing documentary films.

Great Southern Greenway Limerick and Lough Gur Amenity re-open

Following the decision by the government to begin Phase 1 of the Roadmap for re-opening society and business, Limerick City and County Council is pleased the announced the immediate re-opening of the Great Southern Greenway Limerick and Lough Gur. The Council had closed these amenities in March and April as part of measures implemented to stop the spread of the coronavirus.
