Shred your confidential documents and hard-drives for FREE

A special event is taking place to allow businesses and householders throughout Limerick to drop off confidential documents, computer hard-drives and other forms of data carrying media to be shredded free of charge. The one-day event is taking place at the Mungret Recycling Centre on Saturday 01 February 2020 from 11am until 3pm.

Limerick to be national exemplar in fight against climate change this year as it launches its programme for European Green Leaf Year 2020

Limerick’s green credentials deepened today as it launched its European Green Leaf Year with the announcement of a programme of events to mark the European Commission designation. Some 26 events and initiatives are so far scheduled for a packed programme in Limerick, which was awarded the designation along with Belgian city Mechelen in recognition of its commitment to better environmental outcomes.

70 plus training events unveiled for Limerick businesses

Limerick Local Enterprise Office has launched its Training & Development Programme for 2020. The Training & Development Programme 2020 contains over 70 training programmes as well as information on business advice clinics running throughout the year and is targeted at small business owners. The Programme also contains details of other initiatives such as the Website Development Grant and Assistance towards attendance at Trade Shows.

Regeneron Great Limerick Run celebrates new decade determined to take event to another level

Up to 15,000 people are expected to register for the 2020 Regeneron Great Limerick Run, the largest amount ever to take part in the event. The 2020 version of the single biggest mass participation event outside of Dublin was launched today (Monday) by Deputy Mayor of the City and County of Limerick, Cllr. Adam Teskey who said that everything suggests the organisers and sponsors are set to take the run to another level across the next decade.
