Registration is now open for the sixth edition of Team Limerick Clean-Up (TLC), due to take place on Good Friday, 10th April, across Limerick city and county. Limerick in the running for 10 All-Ireland Community and Council Awards including ‘Best Connected Council’
Limerick projects has been shortlisted for 10 awards at this year’s All Ireland Community and Council Awards, including ‘Best Connected Council (Communication & Digital Marketing)’. The awards highlight and celebrate the work done by the local authorities as well as volunteers and groups in our communities and recognise the important contribution they make to our lives.
Up to 15,000 people are expected to register for the 2020 Regeneron Great Limerick Run, the largest amount ever to take part in the event. The 2020 version of the single biggest mass participation event outside of Dublin was launched today (Monday) by Deputy Mayor of the City and County of Limerick, Cllr. Adam Teskey who said that everything suggests the organisers and sponsors are set to take the run to another level across the next decade.
Limerick City and County Council making it easier for people to get on the Supplementary Register for upcoming election
Limerick City and County Council is making it easier for people to be included on the Supplementary Register of Electors and registered to vote in the upcoming General Election. The Council is hosting a four-hour event in its Corporate Headquarters in Merchant’s Quay on Tuesday 21 January 2020 between 10am and 2pm to help people register.

New single council rent scheme for Limerick as €15 million maintenance programme to begin for all council-owned homes
Limerick City and County Council is to introduce a new single rent scheme for tenants of the council, whether they live in the city or county, from next month. This includes all tenants in council-owned homes and those in receipt of Rental Accommodation Scheme (RAS) and Leased Accommodation support and Housing Assistance Payment (HAP).
Innovators set challenge to find solutions for Positive Energy Transition and Laneways of Georgian Limerick
