Ninth year Limerick will honour her war dead.

Limerick City and County Council will shortly be issuing for Tender the drawings for a proposed housing development at Gough Place, Rosbrien Road, Limerick.

Limerick City and County Council wishes to advise motorists and other roads users that a section of the Main Street in Caherconlish, Co. Limerick will be closed to all traffic from 8 July until the end of August 2019.

A Velodrome is to be erected on O’Connell Street this Saturday (22 June 2019) as National Bike Week gets in gear across Limerick. The special cycle track is one of a number of events happening in the city and county from the 22nd and 30th June.

A new website has been launched in Limerick today making it easier for those interested in lifelong learning to get information about the range of courses and insight into the whole area of Lifelong Learning. LearningLimerick.ie is a dedicated website that will strengthen Learning Limerick’s online presence; thus contributing to the group’s strategic priority of enhancing the visibility and presence of Learning Limerick.

Limerick City and County Council has today signed up to a global initiative aimed at boosting HIV prevention and treatment, and reducing stigma. Limerick is one of four cities in Ireland - Dublin, Cork and Galway are the other three - now part of the HIV Fast Track Cities initiative.
