Limerick City and County Council has today launched a new programme that has the potential to kick-start inactive planning permissions to deliver up to 1,000 new homes. The Turnkey programme will be open to all small builders and developers who have sites with full planning permission that have yet to be activated, typically due to unavailability of finance.

Limerick among four Fast Track Cities to support HIV awareness and testing
Limerick City and County Council has today signed up to a global initiative aimed at boosting HIV prevention and treatment, and reducing stigma. Limerick is one of four cities in Ireland - Dublin, Cork and Galway are the other three - now part of the HIV Fast Track Cities initiative.
