European Green Leaf Awarded to Limerick

Limerick has been awarded the European Green Leaf for 2020. The announcement was made following adjudication by a panel of international experts at an event in Oslo, Norway who holds the European Green Capital title for 2019.

Limerick among four Fast Track Cities to support HIV awareness and testing

Limerick City and County Council Chief Executive Conn Murray to step down

Limerick City and County Council has today confirmed that its Chief Executive Conn Murray is to leave the role once his existing contract expires on 14 August next. Mr Murray confirmed his decision in a letter to newly appointed Mayor of the City and County of Limerick, Cllr Michael Sheahan, councillors and staff this morning.
