The Mayor of the City and County of Limerick is calling on everyone to help in the fight against litter. The call by the new mayor Michael Sheahan comes as Limerick falls down the IBAL Anti-Litter league.
Fine Gael’s Michael Sheahan has been elected the new Mayor of the City and County of Limerick. He was proposed by party colleague John Sheahan and seconded by Fianna Fáil’s Michael Collins. In a packed council chamber in Dooradoyle, family and friends of Cllr Sheahan gathered in expectation ahead of the election, including his three-month old only grandchild Courtney.
