Michael Sheahan elected as new Mayor of the City and County of Limerick

Fine Gael’s Michael Sheahan has been elected the new Mayor of the City and County of Limerick. He was proposed by party colleague John Sheahan and seconded by Fianna Fáil’s Michael Collins. In a packed council chamber in Dooradoyle, family and friends of Cllr Sheahan gathered in expectation ahead of the election, including his three-month old only grandchild Courtney.

Limerick SME secures Regional Title at National Enterprise Awards

ABS Engineering Control Services, based in Castlemahon has won the Regional award for the South West Region, comprising of Counties Limerick, Clare, Kerry and Tipperary, at this year’s National Enterprise Awards, organised by the Local Enterprise Offices to celebrate Ireland’s best small businesses.
