Mayor welcomes recent jobs announcement in Limerick as a huge boost for the region

Mayor of the City and County of Limerick, Cllr. James Collins has said that the announcement of 645 jobs in Limerick reflects a new era of prosperity in the Mid-West. His comments come as financial services company FundRock announced the opening of its new office in Limerick with the creation of 45 positions in the next year and a half.

New 33 space car park opened in Adare

Limerick City and County Council is pleased to announce the opening of a new car park in Adare, Co. Limerick. The new 33 space car park, which includes two dedicated disabled spaces, is located on the N21 directly across the road from Scoil Naomh Iosaf, on the Newcastle West side of the village.

Countdown to Croke Park begins for Limerick’s most enterprising students

Teenage entrepreneurs from schools in Limerick City and Newcastle West will represent Limerick at the National Finals of Student Enterprise Programme. Nine student entrepreneurs from two local schools have been chosen to fly the Limerick flag at the finals in Croke Park on Friday 03 May 2019.

Let’s ‘THINK’ about our Single Use items

The people of Limerick are being asked to ‘THINK’ and take action on single-use disposable items. A new exhibition has opened in Limerick Main Library at The Granary on Michael Street, which challenges all of us to think about recycling and the need to move towards multi-use items rather than continue our throw-away culture.
