The Limerick business community is celebrating after Minister Heather Humphries announced a grant of €2,279,073 to enhance the development of the ground-breaking Digital Collaboration Centre (DCC), the first of its kind in Ireland, under the Enterprise Development Fund.

A new website has been launched today (Monday) showcasing all the best of County Limerick’s largest town, Newcastle West. Hundreds of people gathered in the LongCourt House Hotel for the family friendly launch of NewcastleWest.ie -  a joint collaboration between Limerick City and County Council and the Newcastle West Development Association.

Limerick City and County Council has appointed an internationally renowned firm of architects and urban planners, Allies and Morrison, to develop a masterplan for 75 hectares of land, primarily in public ownership, to the south of the city.
