Over 13,500 volunteers join Team Limerick Clean-Up2 for the country’s biggest ever clean-up

The official starter flags will be raised by Paul O’Connell and JP McManus tomorrow, Friday 25th March as they launch Team limerick Clean-up2 (TLC2) on O’Connell Street, Limerick. They will be joined by TLC2 volunteers and the Boherbuoy Brass band. 

A staggering 13,500 volunteers have signed up to Team Limerick Clean-up2 since the campaign was launched last September. Volunteers include schools, local businesses, sporting and community groups and residents associations from across the city and county. The clean-up for volunteers runs from 10am-1pm this Friday.

The TLC initiative is sponsored by the JP McManus Benevolent Fund and is co-ordinated by Limerick City and County Council and kindly partnered by Limerick’s Live 95FM, The Limerick Leader and MrBinman.
