Limerick City and County Council is to hold a meeting to facilitate presentations from potential Presidential candidates, who can outline their plans and reasons why the council should support them in the upcoming Presidential Election.
The meeting will be held in the Council Chamber in the Dooradoyle offices of Limerick City and County Council on Tuesday 18 September 2018 at 10.30am.
All candidates are eligible to attend, but must first contact the Corporate Services Department of the council to register their interest. Corporate Services can be contacted by email at fiona.mccormack@limerick.ie or telephone 061 556313.
Each candidate will be allotted an equal amount of time to make their pitch to the councillors.
Following the presentations, a Special Meeting of the full council will take place that afternoon [18 Sep 2018] at 2.30pm to formally decide on which candidate, if any, to nominate.
