US Firm Casa Systems to create 50 jobs with establishment of new International Centre

Mayor of the City and County of Limerick, Cllr Kieran O’Hanlon said: “I’m delighted that Casa Systems has chosen Limerick as its location for its international centre.  Another fifty new jobs for the people of Limerick is very welcome.  It shows that Limerick is moving very swiftly in the right direction.  I’m particularly pleased to hear from Casa that Limerick has a growing reputation internationally for its highly-skilled technical, logistics and manufacturing talent pool.  Credit is due to the region’s third level institutions and it augurs well for more jobs announcements in the future.”

Casa Systems are a worldwide leader in next-generation ultra-broadband access technology.  The move to Limerick will allow the company to support its continued growth internationally, bringing it closer to its European customers and acting as a base for non-US activity.

Conn Murray, Chief Executive of Limerick City and County Council also welcomed the jobs: “The decision by Casa Systems to locate in Limerick, creating 50 highly-skilled jobs shows that the framework and supports we are putting in place to help FDI companies are working.  Limerick Twenty Thirty will provide world class office space in the heart of the city centre allowing Limerick to compete for even more jobs.”
