Limerick for IT

A Unique Collaborative Talent Solution Model

It is a flexible and adaptable employer-led skills cluster that assesses and addresses future skills needs. The model is supplying a talent pipeline for businesses across the region while allowing existing multinationals secure further operational mandates and activities; creating a virtuous circle of emerging skills and jobs.

A key aspect of the success of Limerick for IT is the can-do attitude, which has been adopted by all partners to ensure that Limerick offers talent solution. The timely manner in which the higher education institutes are delivering graduates with the skills required by industry highlights how true partnership can deliver significant impact.

“We are delighted to be a part of the Limerick for IT initiative. A key factor in Johnson & Johnson’s recent decision to locate a Software development Centre in Limerick was the existence of a great partnership between both colleges, local industry, Limerick City and County Council, Government and IDA Ireland. We really believe that Limerick can establish itself as a world-class hub for IT investment.” Barry O’Sullivan, Johnson & Johnson Vision Care Ireland, Plant Manager
