The Limerick Innovation Hub is a new space developed to provide a high-end landing space for both indigenous and Foreign Direct Investment companies looking to establish a base. It can also be sub-divided to facilitate SMEs that are looking to grow or expand their businesses in the region.
The space was recently completed, extending to 35,000sq ft of enterprise space, offering local businesses the biggest modern open plan office footprint available in Limerick.
The Hub accommodates 200-250 employees and is currently being viewed by a number of companies.
The Innovation Hub is a joint initiative between Limerick Enterprise Development Partnership (LEDP), Limerick Regeneration and Innovate Limerick.
In 2014, Limerick City and County Council became the first local authority to establish a special purpose innovation company called Innovate Limerick. This was established to help drive innovation and act as the delivery mechanism for the projects outlined in the Limerick 2030 Plan and the Limerick Regeneration Implementation Plans and others. The Innovation Hub is one of Innovate Limerick’s key projects.
The Hub is the ideal location for businesses in terms of location, size and the availability of car parking spaces. Just minutes from Colbert Train Station and Limerick City Centre, the Hub is located next to the Maldron Hotel and the M7 motorway.
