Amanda Scott, the co-author of ‘Who is in your Personal Boardroom?’, will be the guest speaker at the Network Ireland Limerick event on Wednesday 11th October at the Savoy Hotel.

At the event, sponsored by Limerick Chamber Skillnet, attendees will find out how to build a strategic network with a small group of people to help them succeed. Women throughout the Mid-West are welcome to attend the event which is free for Network Ireland Limerick and Chamber Skillnet Members and just €20 for non-members.

According to Amanda Scott, your personal boardroom is a small group of people who help you succeed in your job, career or business. Drawing on her work and research on networks of high-performers, Amanda will show attendees how to hone in on the twelve relationships that drive and sustain success. She will also provide pointers on how to choose the right people, assign roles and have conversations with purpose.

Speaking about the upcoming event, Amanda Scott said, “Leaders are only as good as those who they surround themselves with. But few people think carefully about how to select, from their network, the right combination of people to help them be truly effective as leaders and to flourish in their professional lives.”

Edwina Gore, president of Network Ireland Limerick, said, “Networking is an essential business tool for everyone - leaders, employees and entrepreneurs.  Personal Boardroom is a very simple yet very clever framework that helps people recognise the relationships they must nurture to either develop themselves or drive their business forward. This will definitely be a networking evening with a twist and I would encourage women from all ages and backgrounds to join us.”
