Limerick was named the most affordable place to buy a home in an in an International Housing Affordability Survey of 367 cities across nine counties carried out by Demographia.  

As ‘THE’ rising star of Irish urban economies, Limerick also benefits from very competitive house prices, with the average house cost in Q1 2016 at €175,000 for a four-bedroom semi-detached. In Dublin a similar sized house is almost 2.5 times more expensive at €435,000.

Overall house prices in Limerick are 30% lower than the national average.
