Getting Around

Limerick is 290 kms from Belfast, 192 kms from Dublin, 103 kms from Cork, 105 kms from Galway, 104 kms from Tralee and 40 kms from Tipperary.

Limerick is strategically located on the national primary road network, with Ennis and Galway linked by the N18, Cork on the N20, Killarney on the N21/23 and Dublin on the N7.

A comprehensive network of secondary roads links Limerick with other centres of population throughout the country.

Being a compact, planned city, travel-times in Limerick are much shorter and less costly than in some of Ireland ’s other cities.
