47. Wax lyrical at one of Limerick’s poetry readings
Open Mic Poetry every Wednesday at the White House Bar @ 9pm
Every Wednesday the White House Bar is transformed into a centre of culture as poets recite their latest work. Barney Sheehan - behind the revival of poetry at the White House, continues to attract the best of Irish and International poetry to Limerick.
The readings have provided an open, supportive venue for countless poets to perform their work, and has fostered a community of poetry.
'On The Nail' Literary Readings first Tuesday monthly at the Loft Theatre @ 8pm
Everyone is invited to take part in the open-mic session after the monthly main event - poets, storytellers, musicians and writers.
Even if you don't write you are welcome to bring something along to read. The night begins at 8pm and there is free admission and free finger food for everyone attending. So join us on the night and make this event something special.
