The second edition of the Biking Blitz Series kicks off in February with events taking place in Wicklow, Limerick, Galway and Dublin.

There will be an overall series winner, taking the best three results from any four rounds. Mountain bike trail centres are used for these events to ensure a fast flowing course in all weather conditions at this time of year.

So saddle up for the first time or put your training to the test at the 2012 Biking Blitz.

• Baggy Shorts Category- 1 full lap of brown loop, 17km (1 hr 10mins approx winning time)
• Super Pro Category- 1 full lap of white loop, 35km (1 hr 50mins approx winning time)

Entry Fee

• Youth- Free
• Senior categories- €25
• Licence fees covered by Biking.ie
• Car parking- €5 per day or €30 per annum

Schedule:

• Registration- 09.30 to 12.00
• Youth U8, U10- 10.30
• Youth U12, U14, U16- 11.00
• Baggy Shorts and Super Pro start time- 13.00
• Assembly 15 minutes before start time
• Awards Presentation after races- approximately 12.00 and 15.00
