Arthur's Quay Park has excellent views of the River Shannon, Curragour Falls and Clare Hills.

The People's Park, in Pery Square, is the principal park in Limerick City. It was formally opened in 1877, in memory of Richard Russell, a prominent local businessman.

Castletroy Neighbourhood Park features 1.2 km of pedestrian pathways, a fully equipped children’s playground, skateboarding area, circular cycle route and central performance/exhibition area with covering structure.

The Custom House Park is a small park located behind the former Custom House (now the Hunt Museum) on Rutland Street.

O'Brien Park's amenities include a small children's playground (toddlers - 10yrs old), a park shelter and a cast iron drinking fountain.

Robert Byrne Park provides a compact restful haven in which to sit and watch the water flow by and observe the bustle of the city centre across the river.

Russel park was officially opened on the 25th July 1989. It is used for recreational purposes such as walking and jogging.

Shelbourne Park's amenities include two playing pitches, a 20-bay car park and a children's playground.
