Retained Fire-Fighters - Abbeyfeale & Foynes Brigades
Limerick City & County Council invites applications from suitably qualified candidates to form panels, to fill any current and future vacancies, for the above posts.
Applicants who may be considered for membership of the Retained Fire Service are confined to those who;
(a) reside in the area of the fire brigade and whose ordinary employment does not take them away from the area of the fire brigade.
The Retained Fire Service is an emergency service and requires an immediate turnout – therefore, maximum acceptable distance from home and place of employment will be two road miles of the fire station.
(b) hold a full, unendorsed, Class B driving licence
(c) are aged not less than 18 years, nor more than 55 years

ICT Manager – Infrastructure Project & Support (Fixed Term Contract)
Limerick City & County Council invites applications from suitably qualified candidates to form a panel to fill the temporary position of ICT Manager - Infrastructure Project & Support.
Each candidate must have, on the latest date for receipt of completed application forms;
- An ICT related degree (or equivalent) and,
- Three years relevant technical, and one year relevant managerial experience, in the delivery of ICT Infrastructure projects and support and,
- Hold a class B driver’s licence
Salary scale: €43,021 - €52,070 p.a.
Hours of Work: 37 hours per week
